WARREN
WHITE
William White only had two sons (Resolved & Peregrine)
WINSLOW
The only surviving daughter of Gov. Edward Winslow was Elizabeth, born about 1631 and died at Boston, 23 Apr 1698. She married twice: First (before 1656) to Robert Brooks, then (after his death) 22 Sep 1669 to George Corwin. She had one surviving son by her first marriage (John Brooks) who apparently never married, and only two surviving daughters from her second marriage (Penelope and Susanna).
- ↑ Italics indicate that the haplogroup result is based on previous testing through other projects (usually HVR only) and may not be precise. In some of these cases, the result could be inaccurate due to inadvertent errors in lineage tracing. See surname sub-pages for further details and references.
- ↑ mtDNA testing of matrilineal descendant(s) of Hannah may help confirm/refute whether she was daughter of John Bryant & Abigail Bryant.
- ↑ Only if she was daughter of John Bryant and Abigail Bryant.
- ↑ It is currently Unknown which children were by which wife. See MD 40:7-10
- ↑ It is believed there are surviving matrilineal descendants of Mercy (Warren) Bradford, but to date no known matrilineal descendants have mtDNA tested and published there results.
- ↑ Some sources state Peter m1) Mercy Hoar (no children), but this marriage is not in the Peter Brown Silver Book.
- ↑ from WikiTree
- ↑ m1) Robert Nelson, m2) Daniel Pietersz m3) Mattijs Tilligen children unknown. Needs further research.
- ↑ m1) Joris Abrahamsz (no children) m2) Dionysius van Steenstraten
- ↑ "Alweer een Vermeer"
- ↑ From [1]
- ↑ Her WikiTree profile gives her a maiden name of Rossiter, but no source is given. As such, it needs to be treated as unverified.
- ↑ The family lived in Piscataway, East Jersey (now New Jersey) and the daughters lines have not been fleshed out. It is possible there may not be any living mtDNA lines from Jane (Harmon) Doty.
- ↑ The General Society of Mayflower Descendants currently does not accept the Benjamin Doughty who married Abigail Whitehead as a son of Samuel.
- ↑ She was NOT Elizabeth Jackson, daughter of Col. John Jackson and Elizabeth Seaman of Oyster Bay.
- ↑ The Edward Doty Society Genealogy database fails to list any children for Isaac by either marriage.
- ↑ The will of Samuel Eaton made it clear he had at least two children by his first wife. He gave them an equal bequest as he did to his two youngest daughters, so it appears the children were daughters. Their further history is currently unknown.
- ↑ Via a line NOT descended from a Mayflower passenger, but matrilineally related to Elizabeth FULLER Eaton.
- ↑ later Ramsdell
- ↑ Daniel and Hannah had three sons and one daughter (Hannah). The daughter Hannah is not known to have married.
- ↑ NEHGR 128:161-69. Currently, living descendants have only been documented through Moses' daughter, Priscilla, and her husband Thomas Koet. However, much more research is needed in Leiden.
- ↑ aka Zachariah's daughter
- ↑ from a matrilineal/mtDNA descendant of a SISTER to Elizabeth.
- ↑ NOT daughter of Richard Higgins of Plymouth as the family moved to New Jersey where Mary married William Looker.
- ↑ Stephen m2) Bethia LINNELL Atkins, no children.
- ↑ Some sources state she was the wife of Job Hopkins. It is possible mtDNA testing may support or refute this hypothesis.
- ↑ It is believed she moved to Barbadoes, and may have had two daughters out of wedlock there. Further research is needed.
- ↑ John Howland of the Mayflower, vol. 1 names only one mtDNA descendant of the sixth generation from Elizabeth Tilley. As such it is likely there are no living mtDNA descendants.
- ↑ Nathaniel m2) Abigail CHURCHILL Billington, no children.
- ↑ Samuel married twice more, but no children by either marriage.
- ↑ While he had at least six children at Salem, none of them have been traced further. More research is needed.
- ↑ Christian married Joshua Conant. They are only known to have had one son (Joshua). It is unknown if this son ever married. Likely no living descendants. Needs further research.
- ↑ William married twice, first to an unknown wife and second, widow Ann Bell, no children. William and his (Unknown) first wife are said to have had one daughter (Sarah) who married three times, but apparently had no children.
- ↑ Sarah remained in England, where she married Robert (?) Blunden. It is currently unknown whether she had any children.
- ↑ John married twice more, but no children by either wife.
- ↑ In 1651 Gov. Bradford wrote where Thomas Rogers' children came to Plymouth Colony and were married. However, he failed to clearly state which children came over and who they married.
- ↑ Ibid.
- ↑ James and Elizabeth had three sons and one daughter, Mercy, who likely died young. Therefor, no living mtDNA line.
- ↑ Given name unknown in most sources. Wikipedia article on her father stated (without any sources) her name was Sarah. Her husband (but not her) was named in her father's will.
- ↑ While Lydia and James had three daughters, they have no living matrilineal (mtDNA) descendants.
- ↑ George and Susannah only had one child, Mary, who married Joshua Cogswell. While Joshua and Mary had one daughter, Elisabeth, it is believed she never married.
- ↑ Elizabeth had an illegitimate child by Nathaniel Church, but this child is believed to have been either stillborn, or died shortly afterwards.
- ↑ Josiah m1) Mary Dingley, no children.
- ↑ Samuel m2) Hannah WITTER Park, no children.
- ↑ Only one female mtDNA/matrilineal line of the Fourth Generation, and it her further history is unknown. It is quite likely there may not be a surviving matrilineal/mtDNA line.
- ↑ Joan Hurst married first, Thomas Rogers (one child). She married second, John Tilley (five children: 2 sons & three daughters [one daughter died young])
- ↑ She married Edward Hawkins. It is possible Joan's first child was not by Edward.
- ↑ It is currently unknown if he was the John Tilley who emigrated in 1624 to Cape Ann.
- ↑ Robert and Mary may have also had William & Thomas Tilly.
- ↑ It is unknown if the youngest three children of Benjamin Bartlett were by his second wife, or his third. In any case, Benjamin's daughter Sarah (who married her cousin Robert Bartlett) never had any children.
- ↑ She had a child (by Thomas Gray) born out of wedlock after Nathaniel's death (proven by Y-DNA testing).
- ↑ Mehitabel WILDER Warren only had one daughter: Priscilla (born Plymouth 19 Jun 1696). She was known to be living, unmarried on 21 Jun 1716, but her further history is unknown.
- ↑ No surviving matrilineal line through Esther's second husband, Benjamin Warren. Unknown if any surviving matrilineal line through her first husband, Elkanah Cushman (II).
- ↑ While Josiah and Remember had three daughters (Mary, Hannah and Sarah), all baptized at Salem Village (now Danvers), Mary is known to have died young and Hannah & Sarah were last recorded in 1713 when they were baptized (as adults).
- ↑ All living females past childbearing age so this mtDNA line will eventually become extinct.
