First Generation

[1]Desire Shelley, daughter of Robert Shelley and Susanna Dimmock was born abt 1670 and died prob. Woodbridge, NJ aft 20 Aug 1708. She married Woodbridge 8 Jul 1692 Isaac Walker and they had seven children (Woodbridge): Elias (1693), Isaac (c1695), George (c1698), poss. Francis (c1700/1), poss. Samuel (c1703/4), Desire (c1706) and poss. one more child who likely died young.

Second Generation

[2]Desire Walker is said to have been born Little Compton (now in RI) abt 1706 and died Metuchen NJ 22 Dec 1779. She married Woodbridge NJ abt 1733 Joseph Freeman and they had eight children: Matthew (1734), ____ (1736 prob. d.y.), Joseph (1739), Desire (c1742), ____ (c1745 prob. d.y.), Jane (c1748), Elizabeth (c1750) and Naomi (1752).

Third Generation

Desire Freeman was born Woodbridge, NJ abt 1742 and died Bute, NC 8 Feb 1790. She married Timothy Brown and they had at least (Woodbridge, NJ): James Freeman (1769).

Jane Freeman was born Woodbridge, NJ abt 1748. She was married thrice, first Ezra Sayre(s), then John Williams (II), lastly Vincent Tilyou. By her first husband she had at least (Rahway NJ): Noah (1771). By her second husband she had three children: Vincent (1788), Hetty (m Francis Curry) and Joseph F.

Naomi Freeman was born Woodbridge, NJ 24 Apr 1752 and died Brunswick, NJ in 1826. She married twice, first NJ 11 Sep 1770 Abner Cory then ____ Ross. By her first husband she had at least (Rahway NJ): Abner (1772)
