Biography
First Generation
Wybra Hanson was probably born in or near Austerfield, Yorks. about 1590 (parentage currently unknown) and died in Plymouth aft. 15 Dec 1633.[1] She married at Leiden 4 Dec 1610 William Pontus and they had at least two daughters[2] (Leiden): Mary and Hannah.
Second Generation
Mary Pontus was born Leiden before 15 Oct 1622 and died Plymouth 3 Feb 1689/90. She married twice, first Plymouth 31 Oct 1645 James Glass and second, Plymouth 17 Jan 1653 Philip Delano. By her first husband, Wybra had two children (Plymouth): Wybra and Mary. By her second husband, she had three children (Plymouth): Jane (c1655 named in her father's 1682 estate, unk. if marr.), Rebeckah and Samuel (1666).
Hannah Pontus was born Leiden in 1623 and died Plymouth 22 Dec 1690. She married twice, first Plymouth 18 Dec 1644 John Churchill (III) and second, Plymouth 25 Jun 1669 Giles Rickard. She only had children by her first husband (Plymouth): Joseph (1647), Hannah (1649), Eleazer (1652), Mary (1654), William (c1656) and John (1657).
Third Generation
Wybra Glass was born Plymouth 9 Aug 1649 and died Middleboro 29 Dec 1711. She married bef 1669 Joseph Bumpus. They had at least three children: Wilborah (1672 m John Washburn), Joseph (1674) and Penelope (1681 m Richard Everson)

To date, we know of no matrilineal (all female line) descendants of Wybra HANSON Pontus, who has taken a mtDNA test. Anyone who believes they are a matrilineal descendant (ie mother's mother's mother's etc.) is encouraged to contact MayflowerDNA1620@gmail.com.
