First Generation
(Gov.) Thomas Prence was born Lechlade, Gloucestershire about 1600, son of Thomas Prince and Elizabeth Tolderly. He died in Plymouth 29 Mar 1673. Thomas married four times: First New Plimoth 5 Aug 1624 Patience Brewster, second Plymouth 1 Apr 1636 Mary Collier, third 1645 Apphia Quick and fourth 1 Aug 1668 Mary ____ Howes. By his first wife he had: Rebecca (c1625 m Edmund Freeman (II)), Thomas (c1627), Mercy (1631 m. John Freeman) and Hannah (1634 m Nathaniel Mayo & Jonathan Sparrow). By his second wife he had two children: Jane (1637 m Mark Snow) and Mercy (c1639 m John Tracy). By his third wife he had three daughters: Judith (1645 m Isaac Barker & William Tubbs), Sarah (c1646 m Jeremiah Howes) and Elizabeth (c1647 m Arthur Howland (II))
