Biography

First Generation

(Capt.) Peter Bennett was born Beverly Sep 1674, son of John Bennett & Deborah Grover. He died Middleborough 22 Oct 1749. Peter married Bridgewater 20 Oct 1700 Priscilla, daughter of Isaac Howland and they had eleven children (born Middleborough): Elizabeth (1701?), Isaac (1703?), Joseph (1704), Susanna (1707), Peter (1709?), Priscilla (1711), Anna (1713-1714/5), Jedediah (1715-1745 unm), Jael (1717), Nathan (1720) and Deborah (1722/3).

Second Generation

Isaac Bennett was born Middleborough 17 Jan 170[3?] and died bef 9 Jul 1760. He married Middleborough 24 Aug 1732 Mary Drew.

(Lieut.) Joseph Bennett was born Middleborough 16 Nov 1704 and died there 3 Jan 1741/2. He married Middleborough 18 Nov 1724 Thankful, daughter of Ebenezer Sproat.

Peter Bennett (II) was born Middleborough 16 Mar 17[09?] and died 9 Jun 1746. He married 11 Sep 1735 Middleborough Sarah Stevens.

Nathan Bennett was born Middleborough 23 Nov 1720 and was deceased in his father's 1749 will. He married Middleborough 5 Dec 1745 Jemima Samson.
