Previous Y-DNA testing

The Rehoboth (MA) DNA Project does have three Y-DNA descendants of William Sabin under their R1b- SABIN group. In addition, the Sabin DNA Project has four individuals whose STR results indicate they are likely related. FTDNA predicts the family to fall under the R-M269 clade.

NGS/WGS testing

Two of the four individuals in the Sabin DNA project have taken a Big Y-700 test and has been found to fall under R-L23>Z2103>>Z2109>>CTS7556>Y5592>CTS9219>>BY250>BY3717>Y23493>FT91742>BY47087>FT150896>FT150694>FT150882. Since these two testers descend from different sons of William Sabin, we know the father (William) must fall under this haplogroup.

According to the R-BY250 Project, this is a Northern Germanic clade.
