The family was in Dorchester (now part of Boston) by 1634 and may have came over on the Mary & John in 1630. Alice married (Maj.) William Bradford (II) in Plymouth shortly after 23 Apr 1650 and they had ten children (Plymouth): John (1653), William (1655), Thomas (1657), Alice (c1659), Hannah (c1661), Mercy (c1662), Samuel (1668), Melatiah (1664), Mary and Sarah.
Second Generation
Alice Bradford was born Plymouth abt 1659 and died Canterbury, CT 10 Mar 1745. She married twice, first Dedham 29 Jan 1680 (Rev.) William Adams and second Norwich, CT 8 May 1687 (Maj.) James Fitch (II). By her first husband Alice had four children: Elizabeth (1680/1), Alice (1682), William (1683) and Abial (dau 1685). By her second husband (James Fitch) Alice had seven more children: Abigail (1687), Ebenezer (1689), Daniel (1692), Lucy (c1697), Jerusha (1699), Theophilus (c1701) and Jabez (1703).
