Previous Y-DNA testing

Currently Family Tree DNA does not have a Thaxter DNA Project, although they have two DNA tests linked to this surname.

Further needed testing

We need additional direct male-line descendants of Thomas Thaxter (and preferably of his son Samuel) to WGS/NGS test to discover the haplogroup/clade for the family.
