Biography

First Generation

Sarah Wensley was born Boston 11 Aug 1673, daughter of John and Elizabeth Wensley. She married Boston 11 Jul 1700 Isaac Winslow and she died there 16 Dec 1753. Sarah and Isaac had six children (Marshfield): Josiah (1701), John (1703), Penelope (1704), Elizabeth (1707), Anna (1709/10 m [Rev.] James Gardner but no known children) and Edward (1714).

Second Generation

Penelope Winslow was born Marshfield 21 Dec 1704 and died Plymouth 25 May 1737. She married Plymouth 30 Jan 1723/4 (Col.) James Warren (II) and they had five children (Plymouth): James (1726), Ann (1728-1757 unm.), Sarah (1730), Winslow (1733-1747/8) and Josiah (1735/6-1736).

Elizabeth "Eliza" Winslow was born Marshfield 13 Dec 1707 and died Salem 20 Sep 1761. She married Marshfield 20 Nov 1729 (Col.) Benjamin Marston (II) and they had ten children: Benjamin (1730), Elizabeth (1731/2), Patience (1733/4), Sarah (1734/5-1772 unm.), Penelope (1739 d.y.), John (1740-1761), Penelope (1742 d.y.), Lucia (1744 d.y.) Lucia (1747/8) and Winslow (1749).

Third Generation

Sarah Warren was born Plymouth 23 May 1730 and died Kingston 15 Mar 1797. She married Plymouth 2 Dec 1755 (Hon.) William Sever, Esq. and they had five children (Kingston): Sarah Warren (1757), William (1759), James (1761), Anne Warren (1763-1788 unm.) and John Nicholson (1766).


Elizabeth "Betsy" Marston was born Salem 4 Mar 1731/2 and died Plymouth 2 Sep 1798. She married Plymouth 22 Sep 1756 (Hon.) William Watson, Esq. and they had four children (Plymouth): William (1757-1781), Elizabeth (1759), Benjamin (1761-1781) and Ellen (1764).

Patience "Patty" Marston was born Salem 2 Jan 1733/4 and died Plymouth 20 Apr 1767. She married Manchester 7 Nov 1754 (Capt.) Elkanah Watson, Esq. and they had five children (Plymouth): Marston (1756), Elkanah (1758), Priscilla (1760), Martha "Patty" (1762-1840 unm.) and Lucia (1763-1792 unm.)

Lucia "Lucy" Marston was born Manchester 4 Feb 1747/8 and died Plymouth 25 Oct 1793. She married First Church, Plymouth 4 May 1769 John Watson (II), Esq. and they had ten children: john (1769), George (1771), Sarah (1772 d.y.), Benjamin Marston (1774), Lucia (1778), Daniel (1779), William (1781 d.y.), William (1783), Winslow (1786) and Brooke (1788-1789).

Fourth Generation

Sarah Warren Sever was born Kingston 3 Oct 1757 and died Boston 24 Nov 1787. She married Kingston 12 Aug 1784 (Hon.) Thomas Russell, Esq. and they had one child (Boston): Sarah "Sally" (1786 m. [Hon.] Richard Sullivan, Esq.)


Elizabeth "Eliza" Watson was born Plymouth 17 Feb 1759 and died West Fairlee, VT 18 Mar 1835. She married First Church, Plymouth 22 Nov 1787 (Hon.) Nathaniel Niles, Esq. and they had six children (W. Fairlee): Elizabeth "Betsey" (1789-1826 unm.), infant son (1790-1790), Nathaniel (1791), Samuel (1794-1801), William (1796) and Nancy "Ann" (1799 m Joseph Kimball, Esq.).

Ellen Watson was born Plymouth 12 Apr 1764 and died Sandwich 7 Sep 1832. She married First Church, Plymouth (Hon.) John Davis, LL.D. and they had five children (Plymouth): Ellen Watson (1787 m [Rev.] Ezra Shaw Goodwin but no ch.), Elizabeth Marston (1789 m [Capt.] William Sturgis, Esq.), Mercy (1790 m Miles Whitworth White), John Watson (1792), Sarah "Sally" (1794 m Asahel "Alexander" Plimpton).


Lucia Watson was born Plymouth 7 May 1778 and died Roxbury 24 Feb 1861. She married Plymouth 18 Jun 1799 John Taylor and they had four children: Lucia Watson (1800-1816), William John (1801), Jeanette (1802 m Pelham Winslow Warren) and William (1804).
