John Richmond was born in Ashton Keynes, Wiltshire, England about 1594, son of Henry Richmond alias Webb & Elizabeth Christian. He died Taunton 20 Mar 1664. He married Ashton Keynes in 1631 to Elizabeth Nicholas. They had five children: Edward, John, Sarah, Mary & Amy.

(Capt.) Edward Richmond was born in Ashton Keynes about 1632 and died at Little Compton (now part of Rhode Island) in Nov 1696. He married twice, first Abigail Davis & second Amy Bull. He had eight children by his first wife: Abigail, Edward, John, Elizabeth, Mary, Esther, Silvanus & Sarah.  By his second wife he had two more children: Henry & Ann.
 
  
John Richmond (II) was born in Ashton Keynes about 1637 and died Taunton 7 Oct 1715. He married Taunton 1663 to Abigail Rogers. They had seven children: Joseph, Edward, Samuel, Sarah, John, Ebenezer & Abigail.

As of 13 Mar 2021 the Sproat DNA Project does not have any Y-DNA descendants of Robert Sproat/Sprout of Middleborough.
