(Gov.) Thomas Prence was born Lechlade, Gloucestershire about 1600, son of Thomas Prince and Elizabeth Tolderly. He died in Plymouth 29 Mar 1673. Thomas married four times: First Plimouth 5 Mar 1624 Patience Brewster, second Plymouth 1 Apr 1636 Mary Collier, third 1645 Apphia Quick and fourth 1 Aug 1668 Mary ____ Howes. The only son of Gov. Prence was Thomas (by first wife Patience) born before the 1627 Cattle Division. This son Thomas emigrated back to England. He died relatively young, leaving a widow and one daughter.
