William Holmes was born in the vicinity of Sandwich, Kent, England circa 1592 and was died 8 Nov 1678 (buried at Marshfield 9 Nov "86 years old"). He married Scituate by 1638 married Elizabeth ____. Among their children were Josiah and Abraham Holmes.
