Previous Y-DNA testing
According to the Southworth-Southard surname DNA Project Subgroup SF02 (Southworths from Samlesbury) the Southworth family falls under: R-P312>>L21>DF13>Z39589>S1051>S1050>FGC17980>FGC17990>S1057>FGC17983>FGC46958>FT260574>BY39173
Further needed testing
We need direct male-line Peabody descendants of the Southworth family to WGS/NGS test to refine the haplogroup further and delineate descendant clades.
