Biography

First Generation

Richard Sears was born England abt 1595 date, place and parentage currently unknown. He died Yarmouth 5 Sep 1676. He married 1635 Dorothy Jones and they had three children: Paul (1637/8), Deborah (c1639) and Silas (c1641).

Second Generation

(Capt.) Paul Sears was born Marblehead 20 Feb 1637/8 and died Yarmouth 20 Feb 1707/8. He married Yarmouth 1659 Deborah Willard and they had eleven children: Deborah, Mercy (1659), Bethiah (1662), Samuel (1664), Lydia (1666), Paul (1669), Mary (1672), Ann (1675), John (c1678), Richard (1680) and Daniel (1682).

(Lt.) Silas Sears was born Yarmouth abt 1641 and died there abt 13 Jan 1697/8. He married Yarmouth bef 1661 Anna Burnell and they had: Hannah (1672), Joseph (c1675), Josiah (c1675), Elizabeth (c1675) and Dorothy (c1687)

Third Generation

Samuel Sears was born Yarmouth 31 Jan 1664 and died Harwich (now Brewster) 8 Jan 1742. He married Harwich bef 1685 Mercy Mayo and they had eleven children: Hannah (1685), Samuel (1687 m Ruth Merrick), Nathaniel (1689), Tamsen (1691), Jonathan (1693), Joseph (1695), Joshua (1697), Judah (son 1699), John (1701), Seth (1703) and Benjamin (1706).
