Joseph Landers, son of Thomas Landers & Deborah Freeman was born Sandwich 14 Feb 1688/9 and died Sharon, CT 5 Aug 1781. He married 7 Feb 1710 Deborah Doty and they had three children: infant dau. (c1711), Thankful (1713) and Joseph (1723).

(Dea.) Joseph Landers (II) was born Rochester 8 Jul 1723 and died Sharon, CT 31 Aug 1801. He married Wareham 4 Nov 1742 Sarah Lovell and they had Remember, Mary, Deborah, Sarah, Joshua, Thankful, Joseph, Seth, Isaac, Abigail and Lucinda.[1]

Third Generation

Seth Landers[2] was born Sharon, CT 19 Nov 1756 and died there 1 Nov 1788. He married Sharon 19 Jan 1775 Martha Hollister and they had four children: Deborah, Zilpha, Remember and Sarah.

The Landis surname DNA Project currently does not have anyone saying their Most Distant Known Patrilineal Ancestor (MDKPA) was Thomas Landers.

Known patrilineal descendants of Thomas Landers (and preferably through his son Joseph) are needed to Big Y test, contact MayflowerDNA1620@gmail.com and disclose their lineage in order to refine this clade assignment.
