Biography
First Generation
Obadiah Wheeler (II) was born before 1651 in Concord, son of Obadiah Wheeler (I) & Susanna _______. He died aft 28 Mar 1712. He married at Concord 17 Jul 1672 Elizabeth White, daughter of Resolved White & Judith Vassall. They had eight children, one daughter and seven sons: Obadiah, Josiah, Uriah, Samuel, Jonathan, Joseph, Benjamin and Joshua.

Previous Y-DNA testing
The Wheeler DNA Project Subgroup: CA Group 1 lists thirteen individuals, all close STR matches. One of these individuals (kit #356429) is also in the Mayflower DNA Project Subgroup: XX - White, William YDNA/FF Tests (so likely descends from Obadiah Wheeler [II]). One individual in the subgroup Y-SNP tested R1b-P312>>U152>L2>FGC22501>FGC22516
Further needed testing
We need additional direct male-line descendants of Obadiah Wheeler (II) to WGS/NGS test to both confirm the lineage as well as to refine the haplogroup further and delineate descendant clades.
