Biography

First Generation

(Capt.) Peter Bennett was baptized Beverly 30 May 1675, son of John Bennett & Deborah Grover. He died Middleborough 22 Oct 1749. Peter married Bridgewater 20 Oct 1700 Priscilla, daughter of Isaac Howland and they had eleven children (born Middleborough): Elizabeth (1701?), Isaac (1703?), Joseph (1704), Susanna (1707), Peter (1709?), Priscilla (1711), Anna (1713-1714/5), Jedediah (1715-1745 unm), Jael (1717), Nathan (1720) and Deborah (1722/3).

Current results

The Bennett surname DNA Project currently does not name the Most Distant Known Paternal Ancestor (MDKPA) of testers. However, the Ipswich Bennett Y-DNA descendant chart lists the FTDNA numbers for the descendants of Henry Bennett (grandfather of Isaac).
