First Generation
Ellen Newton was born about 1598 in England and was buried Marshfield 5 Dec 1681, called aged 83. She married twice, first New Plimoth abt 1625 John Adams then Jun 1634 to Kenelm Winslow. By her first husband she had three children: James (b 1627), John (p 1627) and Susan (likely died young). By her second husband she had four more children: Kenelm (1635), Eleanor (c1637), Nathaniel (c1639) and Job (1641).
Second Generation
Eleanor Winslow was born Green's Harbor (now Marshfield) about 1637 and died there 27 Aug 1676. She married there 29 Dec 1656 Samuel Baker and they had eight children: Kenelm (1657), Lydia (c1661), Elizabeth (1661), Mercy (1664), Alica (1667), Mary (1667), Alexander (1671) and William (1675).

WikiTree records one individual claiming matrilineal descent from Ellen and states she falls under haplogroup W6. More matrilineal descendants need to test to confirm this result.
