Biography
First Generation
John Tisdale (II) was born prob. at Duxbury, son of John Tisdale and Sarah Walker. The son died Taunton "about the last of Dec." 1677. He married Taunton 23 Nov 1664 (H)Anna Rogers and they had four children (born Taunton): Abigail (1667), John (1669), Anna (1672) and Remember (dau. 1675).
Second Generation
John Tisdale (III) was born Taunton 10 Aug 1669 and died there 26 Jan 1728. He married twice, first about 1700 Deborah Deane and second bef 1707 Abigail ?Burt. By his first wife John had one child: John (c1702). By his second wife he had: Abraham (1704-1737 unm.), Israel (son c1706-1769 m Mary Tisdale but no children), Deborah (c1709), Abigail (c1711), Ephraim (c1713), Jedediah (c1715-c1736 unm.) and Anna (c1718).
Third Generation
John Tisdale (IV) was born Taunton abt 1702 and died there bef 7 Oct 1755. He married Judith Hall and they had: John (c1725), Elijah (1727), Timothy (1730) and Thomas (1732).
Ephraim Tisdale was born Taunton abt 1708 and died there 8 Dec 1778. He married twice, first Taunton 1738 Susanna Gassett then Taunton 25 Sep 1758 Taunton Caroline Leonard. By his first wife he had: Elizabeth (c1747) and by his second wife he had Ruth (c1763).
