(Sgt.) Samuel<sup>3</sup> Steele (John, John, Richard, Richard) was born Farmington, CT 15 Mar 1652 and died Hartford, CT bef 2 Jan 1710. He married  Hartford 16 Sep 1680 Mercy Bradford and they had eight children: Thomas (1681), Elizabeth (c1682), Jerusha (twin, 1684), Samuel (twin, 1684-c1710 unm.), William (1687), Abial (dau, 1693), Daniel (1697) and Eliphalet (1700)

Thomas Steele was born Hartford, CT 9 Sep 1681 and died there 27 Nov 1757. He married Hartford 10 May 1709 Susanna Webster and they had: Jerusha (1710), Samuel (1711/2), William (1713), Susanna (1715), Thomas (1717), James (1719), Nathaniel (1721) and John (1723).
