The Shaw DNA Project Group: R1b1a2 lineage 7 documents a number of individuals who are Y-STR matches. A couple of these individuals have done some level of Y-SNP testing with the most refined Y-DNA Haplogroup being: R-L23>L51>P310>L151>S1194>CTS4528>S14328>A8469>S1196>S1199>S1211>S15363>BY755>Z36763
NGS/WGS testing of Y-DNA descendants of James Shaw would likely further refine their haplogroup.
