Jonathan Sargent was born Malden 17 Apr 1677 and died Mansfield, CT 27 Oct 1754. He married twice, first Malden 13 Mar 1700 Mary Lynde and second 26 May 1717 Mary Sprague. By his first wife he had four children: Mary (1694), Ruth (1696), Jonathan (1700/1) ad Phineas (1702). By his second wife he had: Nathan (1718) and Mary (1722).

Biography

First Generation

(Rev.) John Sargent, son of William Sargent and Sarah ___, was born Charlestown 8 Dec 1639 and died Malden 9 Dec 1716. He married three times, but only his third wife descended from a Mayflower passenger: Malden 1674 Lydia Chipman and they had eleven children: Hannah (1675 no further record), Jonathan (1677), William (1680), Lydia (1682 m. Joseph White), Deborah (1684 m. Thomas Waite), Ruth (1688-1719 never married), Samuel (1688), Ebenezer (1690), Sarah (1692-1716 never married), Hope (1692 unknown if married) and Mehitable (1696-1696)
