Sarah was born about 1597 in England[1] and she died some time during the first winter of 1620/1.[2] She married Francis Eaton, presumably in England about 1618[3] and they only had one son, Samuel.

Summary of findings

It would appear that there are no known direct matrilineal descendants of Sarah, wife of Francis Eaton. Since we do not even know her maiden name, there is no way to conduct mtDNA testing currently.

  1. Estimate, based on having one child before emigrating on the Mayflower.
  2. Of Plimouth Plantation
  3. Estimate, based on having one child before emigrating on the Mayflower.

To do

  • Identify maiden name of Sarah and her origins.
