- Website launched November 11, 2015; website still under development, including consent forms
- Recruiting male participants that are direct patrilineal descendants of Mayflower passengers and crew
- Reaching out to genetic genealogy surname projects, genetic genealogy researchers, and Mayflower reasearchers/organizations to promote the project, recruit participants, and guide project objectives
- Planning to set up project donation system
