First Generation

John Jenney/Jenne His marriage record stated he was from Norwich, England. He was possibly a son of John Jenney, a miller of Lakenham (within Norwich).[1] He died Plymouth 28 Dec 1643. He married Leiden 1 Nov 1614 Sarah Carey and they had seven children: Samuel (1615), infant (1618-1618), Abigail (c1621), son (1623-b1627), Sarah (c1625), John (b1627)[2] and Susanna (c1634).

Second Generation

Samuel Jenney was born Leiden about 1616 and died Dartmouth 25 Nov 1685. He married twice, first Plymouth about 1645 Susanna Wood and second Plymouth about 1657 Anne Lettice. By his first wife he had four children: Sarah (c1646), John (1647), Job (1650) and Jonathan (1653). By his second wife he had six more children: Susanna (1657), Samuel (1659), Elizabeth (1660), Lettice (son, 1662), Mark (c1663) and Ruth (c1665).

  1. John Jenney of Plymouth Colony was also a Miller and called his property "Lakenham".
  2. Named in father's 1643 will but not in mother's 1655 will, so likely died unmarried between those dates.
