The Winter 2021 ''Mayflower Descendant'' has published an article on the Cole family. It states Jane's maiden name was Yates, and she was first married to Thomas Clarke. It is likely this article has further information. Given the fact she apparently had children between c1605 - 1625/6, she was likely born abt 1582-1585, likely near Bermondsey, Surrey. She married twice, first to Thomas Clarke<ref>Jane  petitioned the Plymouth court in 1653 "in behalf of her grandchild the wife of the said Nathaniel Warren." Nathaniel married Sarah Walker.</ref> and second St. Olave, Bermondsey, Surrey, England 16 May 1611 to William Collier.
