  • NGS/WGS test multiple descendants of Richard Church to place the family clade as well as test descendants to discover any subclades unique to descendants lines


Biography

First Generation

Richard Church was born in England about 1608 and died in Dedham 26 Dec 1668. He emigrated to New England in 1630, but which ship he came over on is currently unknown. He was a carpenter, and originally came to help settle Wessagusset [Weymouth] in Massachusetts Bay Colony. He soon moved to Plymouth where he married Elizabeth Warren 7 Mar 1636/7. The family moved to Nauset (now Eastham) in 1649, but was in Charlestown by 1652, and finally at Hingham by 1654.


Richard and Elizabeth had ten children; five daughters and five sons (Joseph, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Charles and Caleb)
