First Generation

(Sgt.) Samuel3 Chesebrough (Nathaniel, William [III]) was born Stonington, CT 14 Feb 1673/4 and died there 19 Jan 1735/6. He married Duxbury 4 Jan 1699/1700 Priscilla Alden and they had seven children (Stonington): Mary (1702), Priscilla (1704), Nathaniel (1706-1709), Amos (1708/9), Hannah (1712), Sarah (1715) and Prudence (1721/2).

Second Generation

(Col.) Amos Chesebrough was born Stonington 2 Feb 1708/9 and died there 13 Sep 1770. He married there 2 Dec 1729 Desire Williams and they had ten children (Stonington): Amos (1730), Desire (1732/3), Lydia (1735), Priscilla (1738), Mary (1740), Samuel (1743), Hannah (1745), John (1748 m Lois Palmer but no known children), [https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Chesebrough-142 Joshua (1750 no further record) and Elizabeth (bp 1755).

Third Generation

Amos Chesebrough (II) was born Stonington, CT 31 Dec 1730 and died New London, CT aft 1790. He married twice, first to Mary Christophers then 10 Nov 1779 Anna York (no children). By his first wife Amos had seven children: Mary (c1756), Desire (1759), Abigail (1761), Richard Christophers (1763-1777), Henry (1764 no further record), Lydia (1766) and Frances (1768).

Samuel Chesebrough was born Stonington, CT 3 Apr 1743 and died 11 Oct 1825. As of 20 Oct 2020 Family Tree DNA does not have a Chesebrough (etc.) surname DNA Project, but has 14 kits associated with Chesborough (etc.) surnames.
