Biography

First Generation

Simon³ Eyres/Ayers (IV) (Simon [III], Simon [II]) was born Boston 6 Jun 1652 and died New Haven, CT bef 12 Nov 1695. He married New Haven 22 Jul 1679 Elizabeth (Allerton) Starr and they had five children (all but youngest born New Haven): Lydia (1680), Simon (1682-1758 unm.), Isaac (1683/4), Benjamin (1688) and Elizabeth (1691 Boston).

Second Generation

Isaac Eyres/Ayers was born New Haven, CT 23 Feb 1683/4 and died Elizabeth, NJ aft Jan 1743. He was married and had at least: Samuel.

Benjamin Eyres/Ayers was born New Haven, CT 19 Jun 1688 and died East Hampton, NY 1 Sep 1753. He married East Hampton 9 Apr 1713 Deborah Parsons and they had five children: Benjamin (c1713), Elizabeth (1717), Isaac (c1720), Clemens (dau, c1723) and William (p1726).

Third Generation

Samuel Eyres/Ayers married Sarah ___ and had three children (all bp. 16 Nov 1768): Phebe, Isaac & Lydia.

Benjamin Ayers (II) was born East Hampton, NY abt 1713 and died there 5 Dec 1797. He married twice, East Hampton 16 Oct 1740 Elizabeth Osborn and second aft. 1750 Elizabeth ____. By his first wife he had: infant son (d. 1740), Isaac (d. 1771 unm.) and Simon (c1756 no further record).
