First Generation

Sarah Torrey was born Plymouth 9 Feb 1660 and died there aft 6 Nov 1722. She married twice, first 1678 Richard Warren then Barnstable 18 Sep 1712 Thomas Ewer (no ch.) By her first husband, Sarah had six children: James (1679 unm.), Samuel (1683), John (1689), Hope (c1693), Anne (c1694) and Joanna (c1695).

Second Generation

Hope Warren was born prob. Plymouth abt 1693 and died there abt 1760. She married Scituate 12 Jun 1710 David Torrey and they had three children: Stephen (1710/1), Rachel (1712/3) and Elizabeth (bp 1717).

Anne Warren was born prob. Plymouth abt 1694 and died there abt 1766. She married Plymouth 8 Apr 1712 John May and they had three children: Mary (1713), John (1722) and Sarah (1724-1724).

Joanna Warren was born prob. Plymouth abt 1695 and died there abt 1760. She married 1 Aug 1717 Samuel Bumpas and they had nine children: Sarah (1718 unk. if marr.), Joanna (1719), Jabez (1721), Thomas (1722/3), John (1725), Warren (1727), Bethiah (1729), Mary (1731/2 unk. if marr.) and Phebe (1734 unk. if marr.)

Third Generation

Rachel Torrey was born Scituate 7 Mar 1712/3 and died sometime after 1753. She was married to _____ Pierce and in 1753 she was in Hanover, with one small child.

Elizabeth Torrey was baptized Scituate 11 Aug 1717 and died Hanover aft 2 Apr 1779. She married Hanover 10 May 1741 and they had seven children: Thomas, Nathaniel, Warren, Elizabeth, Sarah, Lucy and Samuel.

Mary May was born Plymouth 7 Feb 1713 and died aft 26 Nov 1776. She married Plymouth 22 Sep 1733 John Valler and they had eight children: Sarah (1734), Ann (1736-1738), John (1739), Sylvanus (1742), Silas (1744), Anne (1746), Simeon (1747) and Lois (1752).

Joanna Bumpas was born Barnstable 15 Apr 1719 and died there 9 May 1790. She married Barnstable 3 Dec 1755 Ebenezer Hamblen and they had at least one child: Joanna (1757).

Bethiah Bumpas was born Barnstable 23 Aug 1729. She married there 26 Oct 1748 Seth Phinney and they had at least two children: Zelphia (1745) and Sarah (c1756).

DNA results TBD
