First Generation

Deborah Gates, daughter of Thomas Gates and Elizabeth Freeman was born Stow 22 Feb 1683 and died Preston, CT 15 Jan 1745. She married Preston 1 Jun 1709 Stephen Standish and they had seven children: Deborah (1711 unm.), Samuel (1713), Lois (1715/6 unm.), Abigail (1716/7), Sarah (1718/9 unm.), Israel (son, 1721/2) and Thomas (1724).

Second Generation

Abigail Standish was born Preston, CT 9 Feb 1717/8 and died Lebanon, CT 31 Aug 1747. She married Lebanon 29 Dec 1743 Rufus Rood and they had two children (Lebanon): Asa (1744) and Abigail (1746).

Third Generation

Abigail Rood was born Lebanon, CT 28 Oct 1746 and died prob. Tunbridge, VT in 1821. She married bef 1770 Simeon Curtis and they had seven children: Asa (1770-1771), Asahel (1772), Amzi (1775-1777), Amzi (1777), Abigail (1779 unk. if marr.), Simeon (1781) and Abel (1785).

Conclusion

Given the fact there is only one matrilineal/mtDNA female of the Fourth Generation (Abigail Curtis , born Tunbridge, VT 14 Mar 1779) and that her further history is unknown, it is likely there may well be no surviving matrilineal/mtDNA line today.
