First Generation

Jonathan Bosworth (II) was born at either Cambridge or Hingham about 1636, son of Jonathan Bosworth (s/o Edward) & Elizabeth ____. He died Swansea bef 10 Jun 1717. Jonathan married Swansea 6 Jul 1661 Hannah Howland and they had ten children (born Swansea): Mercy (1662 dy), Hannah (1663), Elizabeth (1665-1676), Jonathan (1666-1676), David (1669), John (1671), Jabez (1673), Ichabod (1676), infant son (1678) and Jonathan (1680).

Second Generation

(Deacon) David Bosworth was born Swansea 15 Sep 1669 and died Halifax 12 Jun 1747. He married twice, first Plymouth 18 Aug 1698 Mary/Mercy Sturtevant and second Patience _____. All children by first wife (born Plymouth): David (1699), Jonathan (1700/1), Nehemiah (1702/3) and Hannah (1705).

John Bosworth was born Swansea 6 Apr 1671 and died Barrington (now in RI) 20 Sep 1719. He married Swansea 10 (or 16) Jun 1702 Elizabeth Toogood and they had nine children (born Swansea): Elizabeth (1703), Mary (1705), Hannah (1706), Nathaniel (1709), John (1711), Lydia (1713), Rachel (1716 dy), David (1717/8) and Oliver (posth. 1720).

Jabez Bosworth was born Swansea 16 Feb 1673 and died Rehoboth in 1747. He married about 1700 Susanna ____ and they had six children (born Rehoboth): Zachariah (1701), Jabish (1703), Hannah (1707), Mary (1710), Joseph (1714) and Patience (1717)

Ichabod Bosworth was born Swansea 18 Mar 1676 and died poss. at Bellingham aft 1719. He married twice, first int. Rehoboth 3 Jan 1700/1 Sarah Stacy and second Mary ____. By his first wife he had six children (born Rehoboth): Hannah (1701-1702/3), Jonathan (1702-1702/3), Sarah (1704-1705), Mary (1706 nfr), Ichabod (1708) and Henry (c1710). By his second wife he had four more children: Sarah (1712), Jonathan (1714), Benjamin (1716) and Joseph (c1719).

Jonathan Bosworth (III) was born Swansea 22 Sep 1680 and died bef 17 Feb 1759. He married Swansea 26 Nov 1703 Sarah Round and they had five children: Amos (1704), Ichabod (1706), Christian (1708), Jonathan (1710/1) and Elisha (1713).

Third Generation

David Bosworth (II) was born Plymouth 21 May 1699. He married Plympton 22 Dec 1720 Priscilla Shaw and they had nine children: Elizabeth (1722), Amaziah (1726 m Tabitha Hartshorn), Isaac (1729, no further record), Priscilla (1731), Lydia (1733), Zadock (1735 m Joanna Raymond), David (1737/8 no further record), Hannah (1739) and Rebecca (1743).

Jonathan Bosworth was born Plymouth 16 Feb 1700/1 and died Halifax 24 Jan 1741/2. He married twice, first Plympton 19 Dec 1723 Alice Cushman (she died in childbirth and the child also died), and second Plympton 30 Sep 1725 Ruth Tilson by whom he had six children: Alice (1727), Jonathan (1730 m Abigail Lathrop), Jabez (c1732-1747 unm.), Zadock (1734 m Martha Waterman & Elizabeth Smith), Noah (1737 m Lydia Ripley) and Ichabod (1739 m Rebekah Sturtevant & Lydia Standish).

Neheiah Bosworth was born Plymouth 15 Mar 1702 and died Halifax 22 Dec 1762. He married twice, first Plympton 27 Jan 1725/6 and second Plympton 26 Mar 1729. By his first wife he had two children: Deborah (1726) and Susanna (1728). By his second wife he had six more children: John (1729 m Sarah Jackson), Nehemiah (1731 m Sarah Goodspeed), Peter (1732/3-1740), David (1735 m Patience Bosworth but likely no ch.), Sarah (1737) and Susanna (1739).

Nathaniel Bosworth was born Swansea 14 Aug 1709 and died Sandisfield 25 Oct 1807. He married twice, first Lebanon, CT 22 Nov 1733 Bethia Hinckley and second Middletown, CT 14 Jun 1750 Elizabeth Eddy. By his first wife he had five children: Constant (1736 m Thankful ___, Mary Mather & Mercy West), Bethiah (1739), Jabez (1742 m ____), Nathaniel (1744 m Mary Smith) and Elizabeth (1746). By his second wife he had nine more children: John (1751 m Hannah Smith), Anna (1753), Eliza (1755), Amos (1758 d.y.), Amy (1760), Frederic (1765 m Hannah Couch), Roderick (1766 likely unm.), Edy (1769) and Morris (1772 m Mary Corbin).

John Bosworth (II) was born Swansea 9 Sep 1711 and died abt 1745. He married Swansea 3 Jan 1732 Elizabeth Wheaton and they had at least two children: Hezekiah (1740/1 m Mary Giddings) and Experience (c1743).

(Deacon) David Bosworth was born Swansea 14 Feb 1717/8 and died Lebanon, CT 12 Feb 1798. He married Lebanon 27 Jun 1743 Mary Strong and they had seven children: Lydia (1743/4), David (1746-1749/50), Ichabod (1748 m Abigail Chappell & Abigail ____), David (1750 m Mindwell Fitch), Jabin (1752 m Luna West), Molly (1754) and Hezekiah (1757-1777 unm.)

Zachariah Bosworth was born Rehoboth 11 Jul 1701 and died there 19 Feb 1725/6. He married Rehoboth 14 Mar 1723 Mary Callendar and they had one child: Susannah (1726).

Joseph Bosworth was born Rehoboth 8 May 1714 and died there in 1754. He married Rehoboth 14 Aug 1740 Patience Wheaton. It is currently unknown whether they had any children.

Amos Bosworth was born Swansea about 1704 and died aft 10 Aug 1775. He married ____ and had at least: Benjamin (1757 m Barbara Lindley).

Ichabod Bosworth was born Swansea 31 May 1706 and died Rehoboth before 6 Sep 1775. He married twice, first Rehoboth 12 Jan 1726 Mary Bowen and second Warren, RI 19 Nov 1748 Bethiah Wood. By his first wife he had five children: Martha (d. 1759), Bethia (1727), Mary (1735), Ichabod (1739 m Hannah Horton) and Elizabeth (1742). By his second wife he had at least: Joseph (1756 m Elizabeth Gifford).

Jonathan Bosworth (IV) was born Swansea about 126 Feb 710 and died Foster, RI Dec 1797. He married ____ and had at least: Mary (1736).

Elisha Bosworth was born Rehoboth 8 Jul 1713 and died 1757. He married Rehoboth 11 Nov 1741 Elizabeth Martin and they had three children: Elizabeth (1744), Judith (1746) and Elisha (1754 m Lydia Capron).
