Biography
First Generation
John Fullerton was born 30 Sep 1696, son of Alexander Fullerton & Mary _____. He died Marshfield Jun 1780. John married twice, first Marshfield 13 Oct 1720 Ruth Samson and second Marshfield 17 Apr 1746 Rebecca Delano. By his first wife he had at least eight children (born Marshfield): Mercy (1721), Mary (1723 likely d.y.), William (1725 likely d.y.), Ann (1728 likely d.y.), John (1730), Alithea (1735), Ruth (1738) and Deborah. By his second wife he had at least: Anna, Penelope, Lucy, Hannah, Araunah, Abigail and Mary.[1]
Second Generation
John Fullerton (II) was born Marshfield 24 Feb 1730/1 and died Abington 15 Feb 1817. He married Abington 12 Jun 1755 Molly Noyes and they had at least six children (first three known to be born at Abington): John (1756), Sarah (1761), Asa (1764), Ruth (c1766), William (c1773) and Anna (c1774).

Previous testing
The Fullarton/Fullerton DNA Project currently does not list the Most Distant Known Paternal Ancestors (MDKPA) in their project, so it is unknown if any Y-DNA descendants of John Fullerton have done any Y-DNA testing.
NGS/WGS testing
NGS/WGS testing of descendants of John Fullerton would identify the haplogroup for the family and possibly define subclades for descendants.
