DNA Results R1a-M198

Previous testing

The Stetson, Stilson, Stitson, Stidson DNA Project Group 1 - All kits in this group probably share a common male ancestor within the genealogical time frame. Currently lists five individuals who are close Y-STR matches to each other. None of them have done any Y-SNP testing, and they all have done Y-37 STR testing. FTDNA predicts they fall under R1a-M198, and the Nevgen Y-DNA Haplogroup Predictor tool is unable to further refine this prediction.

NGS/WGS testing

NGS/WGS testing of descendants of (Cornet) Robert Stetson would further refine the haplogroup for the family and possibly define subclades for descendants.
