Elijah Tyler was born Mendon 8 Nov 1727 and enumerated at Westhampton in the 1790 Census. He married Uxbridge 14 Sep 1749 Ruth Owen and they had ten children (first 8 born Upton): Anna (1750), Nathan Webb (1752), Stephen (1754), Catherine (1756), Eunice (1758), Ruth (1761), Hannah (1763), Moses (1766) Sally (c1768) and Simeon (1770).
