Biography
From: The Descendants of Captain Thomas Baxter of Cape Cod
First Generation
Thomas Baxter was born, presumably in England, about 1653 and died at (West) Yarmouth on 22 Jun 1713. He married Temperance Gorham 27 Jan 1679/80 at Yarmouth. They had three sons: Thomas, John, Shubal
Second Generation
Thomas Baxter (II) married twice, first 3 May 1705 Mary Lattimer and second to Hannah Crowell. All of his children were by his first wife: 2 daughters and four sons (Timothy, Thomas, Cornelius, Malachi)
John Baxter was born in 1685 and died in 1749. He married 11 Jun 1706 Desire Gorham. They had twelve children; five daughters and seven sons (John, Joseph, Isaac, Hezekiah, Samuel, Thomas & Shubal)
Shubael Baxter, Esq. was born in 1687 and died 12 Apr 1741. He married Elizabeth Gorham. They had two daughters and son, Richard.
