He married twice, first Ann ____ then by 1 Apr 1659 Lydia ____ (no ch.) By his first wife he had five children: Lydia (c1625), Abigail (c1631), John (c1635), Daniel (c1637) and Ephraim (c1642).

John Doane (II) was born Plymouth abt 1635 and died Eastham 15 Mar 1707/8. He married twice, first Eastham 30 Apr 1662 Hannah Bangs then Eastham 14 Apr 1684 Rebecca Pettee (no ch.) By his first wife he had eight children (Eastham): John (1662/3-1663), John (1664), Ann (1666), Rebecca (1668), Hannah (1669), Isaac (1670), Samuel (1673) and David (c1675).
