Biography
First Generation
Not much is known about John Crackston(e). He was a member of John Robinson's congregation in Leiden (and appeared as a witness in several marriages of members of the congregation). He was undoubtedly the John Crackstone who married Stratford St. Mary, Suffolk, 9 May 1594 Katherine Bates[1] and they had at least: Ann (m. Leiden 12 Dec 1618 Thomas Smith) and John (emigrated with his father to New Plimouth and died shortly after the 1627 Cattle Division, unmarried).
