First Generation

Edward May[1] was born circa 1645 and died Plymouth (now Halifax) 10 Aug 1691. He married twice, first abt 1670 Hannah King (not descended from a Mayflower passenger) and second, abt 1683 Dorcas Billington. Edward had four children, but their births are unrecorded, thus identifying their mother is problematic. A 2013 Mayflower Descendant article by Christopher Child claimed where Dorcas was only the mother of one of his children: Israel (c1684).

Second Generation

Israel May was born Plymouth (now Halifax) about 1694 and died Halifax aft 26 Jun 1743. He married Plympton (now Halifax) 5 Feb 1707/8 Elizabeth Barber and they had five children (Plympton, now Halifax): Moses (1708 n.f.r.), Edward (1711/2), Elizabeth (1714/5), Marcy (1717) and Sarah (1720).

Third Generation

Edward Maye was born Plympton (now Halifax) 22 Mar 1711/2 and He was last found in the 1790 Census at Cornwall, CT. He married Plympton 27 Sep 1739 Ann Parris/Parish and they had six children: Edward (1740-1747), Mercy (1742), Bette (1743/4), Mary (1746), Hannah (1748), William (1750 n.f.r.) and Ruth (c1752).
