Elezaer Lewis [Lewes], son of Edward Lewis<ref>Son of George Lewis (II) who emigrated to Barnstable.</ref> and Hannah Cobb, was born Barnstable 26 Jun 1664 and died Middleborough about 3 Feb 1727. He married twice, first Plymouth 27 Jul 1696 Hannah Fuller and second Middleborough aft 1708 Mary ____ (not known to descend from a Mayflower passenger). By his first wife Eleazer had five children: Edward (c1698 unk. if marr.), Susanna (c1700), Hannah (1703), Elizabeth (c1705) and Shubael (c1707).

Shubael Lewis was born Middleborough about 1707 and died there (date unknown). He married Plympton 14 Mar 1733/4 Hasadiah (Hezediah) Eddy and they had seven children: Eleazer (c1734), Gideon, Jabez (1737), Samuel, Abner, Seth and Mary.
